TRUMAN SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION SESSION AND LUNCH

(Informal Q & A 1:00-2:00)

Truman Scholarships of up to $30,000 for graduate study are awarded annuall y to juniors and third-year seniors who are planning graduate school to prepare for careers in government or elsewhere in public service (broadly defined).  The deadline to submit applications to the UM committee will be January 2, 2009.  There will be a lunch and information session on November 21 to discuss the scholarship and the application process.  Truman scholars who are graduate students at UM will be here to share their experiences and provide insight and guidance.  To reserve a space, email Elleanor Crown at ecrown@umich.edu.

In addition to third-year students, first- and second-year students who may want to apply in the future are welcome to attend.  If you have class from 12-1, feel free to drop by after 1:00 for an informal question & answer session.
