19th Annual UM Asia Business Conference

Asia: Globalization and Transformation

Location: Stephen M. Ross School of Business
Date: February 6th and 7th, 2009

The 2009 Conference will feature more than 25 speakers from Asia and the United States and usually attracts nearly 600 business leaders, students, faculty and others interested in learning more about Asia.

The program will include regional panels on China, India, Japan, Korea and ASEAN, as well as functional panels on Finance, Energy, Environment, Technology, and Healthcare.

Past conferences have featured speakers from multinational corporation such as, Johnson & Johnson, Mitsubishi Motors, General Motors, Shell, Nike, Satyam, Northwest Airlines, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, Dow Chemical, Baxter Healthcare, and Pfizer.

Prominent government officials such as the ASEAN Secretary General, the Singapore Ambassador to the United Nations, the Finance Minister of India, Finance Minister of Thailand, and the United Nations Assistant Secretary General for Economic Development have given keynote addresses.
