First Mtg. w/Ai Xiaoming & Wang Zheng

Professor Ai Xiaoming (Zhongshan University of China) and
Professor Wang Zheng (University of Michigan) will give a talk based on their 9/19 & 9/20 presentations at Columbia University:
"What is feminist politics now? Local and Global"

Date: September 29, Monday
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
Place: 1014 Tisch Hall

A light dinner will be served.
Please contact yingaa@umich.edu if you plan on attending.
We want to make sure there is enough food and drink for everyone.

Professor Ai Xiaoming is a panelist at the session "Geneologies of feminist politics," and Professor Wang Zhen is part of the "World Leaders Forum" which will discuss feminism and liberalism.

The works of these two feminist scholars and teachers are well-known in both China and the U.S. We are fortunate to have both of them talk to us. Those who are familiar with the IRWG Global Feminism Project certainly know how much influence their work has had on young feminists in China.
