International Summer School, Faculty of Economics & Business, Zagreb
The International Summer School of Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb which will take place from July 2 to July 28, 2007.
We started thinking about organizing a summer school after we compared ourselves to other faculties that have a long tradition of summer schools in Europe and worldwide. The mission of our international summer school is to ensure an additional opportunity for taking courses during the summer by providing the highest quality of lectures and exams for our most important beneficiaries - students. In the future we see ourselves as the most respectable and strongest - in the number of participants and quality of classes - international summer school in the country and one of the leading summer schools in Europe.
The goal of this international summer school is to ensure high standards of education according to the principles of Bologna declaration, transfer of ECTS credits, but first of all we want to provide knowledge and skills from the field of Economics and Business Administration. Students' benefit is in the center of our efforts.
And what is most important, we want our international summer school to become a place where in July 2007 they can take Bologna courses led by our best lecturers and organize their studies better. International summer school will be held in the lecture halls of Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb that have all the necessary equipment and are air-conditioned.
In the academic year 2006/2007 the departments of our Faculty will offer the already approved Bologna courses from the first, second and third year of our curriculum for undergraduate studies. The international dimension of our summer school will be present in the English-taught undergraduate courses that are already a part of the existing curriculum. These courses are held within the Economics and Business International Program (EBIP).
Application deadline is June 20th, 2007. More details on the school and application forms can be found on the Faculty's
