History Department at Missouri State University anticipates an
assistant professor position in Modern Continental European
History (including Russia and excluding France), starting in
August 2008. PhD. by August 11, 2008 is required. Successful
candidate must demonstrate strong potential in research and
teaching. Teaching experience and publications are preferred.
Duties include teaching upper-division undergraduate and
graduate courses in research specialty and World History
survey. Date of First Consideration is 11/19/2007. Preliminary
interviews will be conducted at AHA meeting in January 2008.
