Founded 65 years ago MGIMO rapidly expanded to become Russia's leading institution for training diplomats and politicians, as well as, the leading Russian educational and research centre in the field of international relations. Program overview

MGIMO International Summer School provides foreign students with courses which concentrate on the contemporary Russian politics, institutions and processes as well as on international energy policy.
Participants will also have a unique opportunity to learn and practice the Russian language or to upgrade their knowledge.

Courses language: English

MGIMO International Summer School 2010 offers lectures and classes in three terms:

Term I: 1 - 20 June
Term II: 21 June - 11 July
Term III: 12 July - 30 July

Each term includes:
 One major course - 30 contact hours with final written exam, 4 ECTS
(European Credits Transfer System) credits;
 One elective course - 16 contact hours, no exam, 1ECTS credit;
 One Russian language course - 30 contact hours, 2 ECTS credits.

Participants: Approx. 20-25, undergraduate and graduate international students.

Accommodation: student dorm on campus, shared double-rooms.
Food places at dorm and university, reasonable prices.
Library, sports and recreation facilities, swiming pool.

MGIMO International Office offers participants a variety of cultural and social activities in Moscow and surrounding area about twice a week.

Fee for one term: EUR 2.000
(EUR 1.700 without Russian language course).
This includes tuition and application fees, accommodation, culture and leisure programme.
