CFP Journal: “Europe,” Institute of Humanities, Tyumen State University

"Europe" is a peer reviewed annual journal published at Tyumen State University, Institute of Humanities. The journal includes original research of Russian and foreign scholars and PhD students in a broad range of fields relating to Europe: history, political science, sociology, international relations, medieval studies, humanities, environmental studies, anthropology. Giving a multi-layered picture of contemporary researchers’ viewpoints working in the field of Europe studies is one of our main objectives. We welcome interdisciplinary research that promotes closer ties between political science and humanities.

We welcome articles, essays, book reviews, translated works, review articles and discussions in three broad fields:
-European history (from ancient history of Europe until contemporary European history);
-International relations and foreign policy of European countries;
-Contemporary cultural, political, social, economic policies of European countries.

Basic requirements:
-Microsoft Word Windows 97-2003, .doc or .rtf format
-Font 14 Times New Roman
-1.5 space, no syllabification, justified text.
-Page formatting: upper margin: 2,5 cm, left margin: 3 cm., right margin: 2 cm.; first-line indent: 1.27 cm.
-Automatic footnotes.
-Suggested layout: last name given in full and first name (-s) initials should be in the middle of the page, then goes the title of the article in bold capital letters.
-Word limit: 20 000-40 000 characters with spaces (including abstract and footnotes)

We kindly ask you to submit your manuscripts and (as a separate file) short information about the author, which includes full name, degree, place of work, position, field of research interest, e-mail address, postal address, phone number. The languages we accept are: English, German, French, Russian. All submissions should include abstract, key words in English and Russian, and English and Russian translation of the title. All submissions should be sent to the following e-mail address: kafedra_nhir@mail.ru. Articles will be translated into Russian by the editing team.
