The School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures at the University of Edinburgh seeks to appoint an outstanding candidate for the role of Reader or Senior Lecturer in Film Studies. The appointee will be expected to provide strategic vision and leadership for Film Studies at Edinburgh, contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, and publish high-quality academic research. You will have an excellent and sustained publication record, a completed PhD in Film Studies or a closely related area, and substantial experience of teaching Film in a higher education context, including PhD supervision.
The appointment is available from 1 September 2013.
Salary Scale: £47,314 - £53,233 per annum
