Essay Competition: Potential Cooperation Between Moscow and Washington,

Deadline: November 10, 2013

The Russia Direct team would like to invite students to participate in a new essay competition.

Students are asked to analyze an overlooked field of potential cooperation between Moscow and Washington, some deeply held stereotype that is preventing a breakthrough in the U.S.-Russian relationship, or a topic that may have been mentioned on blogs or social media, but has never been covered by a major media outlet. All essays must be submitted via email by November 10, 2013 (email: editor@russia-direct.org).

Please see more information about the student competition here:

Russia Direct is an international analytical outlet of Russia Beyond the Headlines, which was launched in June in cooperation with Foreign Policy magazine. Russia Direct is a forum for experts and senior decision makers from both the United States and Russia to discuss, debate and understand the issues in U.S.-Russian relations from a sophisticated vantage point.
