The Inter-Asia Program at the MacMillan Center, Yale University, invites applications for a postdoctoral position. This is a 12 month appointment with the possibility of extension for up to another 6 months, beginning no later than Sept. 1, 2013. Duties include 1) serving as primary programmatic liaison with Principal Investigators Helen Siu (East Asian Studies) and K. Sivaramakrishnan (South Asian Studies), the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) and the program's researchers around the world; 2) working with SSRC staff to document and analyze existing materials from completed and planned Inter Asia Connections conferences and the work of scholars and researchers associated with the Program since its inception in 2008; 3) promoting faculty and student interest in program activities and engaging and expanding program networks on campus.
