JOB: Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Grand Valley State University

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a full time tenure-track appointment. Ph.D., with a specialty in Arabic literature, culture, linguistics or language pedagogy required by August 2008. Native or near-native fluency is required in Modern Standard Arabic and at least one dialect. Experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language desired. Successful applicant will teach in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Middle East Studies Program. Applicants with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
