The University of Mary Washington invites applications for a tenure-track position in Arabic to begin fall 2009. PhD. in Arabic or Arabic Studies required by August 16, 2009. Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English and experience teaching language courses at all levels are required. Interest in developing study abroad program and support of Middle East studies preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment.
