The American Research Institute in Turkey - Fellowships
National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships for Research in Turkey 2009-2010
The Fellowships:
- The fields of study cover all periods in the general range of the humanities and include humanistically oriented aspects of the social sciences, prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history.
- The fellowships for research in Turkey may be held for 4-12 continuous months during 2009-2010
- Stipends in the range of $13,335-$40,000 are available on the basis of individual proposals
Eligibility:
- Scholars who have completed their formal training and plan to carry out research in Turkey may apply
- They may be U.S. citizens or 3-year residents of the U.S.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 1, 2008
- Applications & three letters of recommendation must be received
