Washtenaw Community College - Course in Photography in Morocco
Announcing an International Travel course to Morocco for people interested in learning photography and the culture of Morocco. This is a 3 credit course offered by Washtenaw Community College called PHO 105-Digital Photography Abroad, and it will be offered this coming May 15-25. We will travel to a wide variety of places in Morocco, including the cities of Casablanca, Fes and Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert. Participants will be able to use Canon professional cameras and laptop computers provided by WCC, and no prior course work in photography is required.
I have room for 18 participants, and we are already about halfway booked. The initial sign-up deadline is December 17 - we will take additional registrations after that date on a space-available basis. The cost of the course is $3450, which includes airfare, ground transportation, hotels, all meals, an Arabic speaking guide and photography instruction. Tuition for 3 credits is extra, roughly $220 for a Washtenaw County resident.
