Greenville Technical College - Program Coordinator Position
POSITION: 6511 Program Coordinator II- PT

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: Minimum: $17.71/hr Midpoint: $25.24/hr
HOURS: 15 Hours/week
CAMPUS: All GTC campuses, mainly at Barton. Occasional conference travel and recruiting trips required
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will support a grant Middle East Area Studies Program through the International Education Center at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
• Writes reports and maintains budget records
• Coordination of professional development opportunities for GTC faculty
• Assists with selection of faculty members and keeps records of curriculum revisions
• Organize Middle Eastern Festivals
• Assist with development of study abroad program
• Marketing of programs in local high schools and community organizations
• Coordinates outreach activities and media coverage
• Provides support to Project Director
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelors degree and three (3) years relevant program experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree with graduate course work related to the Middle East and/or experience living in the Middle East.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cultures
• Experience with development of academic programs and marketing of community events.
• Experienced administrator and to be able to work independently
