Fort Apache the Bronx
This film provides a very realistic interpretation of life in the south Bronx, New York during the 1970s. The fine line between right and wrong is blurred. The community and police struggle to find a livable balance.
Paul Newman is the compassionate, slightly disfunctional police officer and Ed Asner is the tough, hard line captain.
Pam Grier and Danny Aiello deserve honorable mention in their respective rolls. They bring a certain reality to the film.
