Movie promoter Lawrence Woolsey bring his unique brand of flashy showmanship to the unsuspecting residents of Key West, Florida. Fifteen-year-old fan Gene Loomis can't wait for Woolsey's arrival, who is in town to promote his latest offering of atomic power gone berserk. His vision takes on a sudden urgency as the Cuban Missile Crisis places the real threat of atomic horror just 90 miles off the coast.
John Goodman is Lawrence Woolsey. Perfect part for Mr. Goodman.
This is a fun movie. The only problem is when the kids have a kissing scene. He looks 16 years old and she almost 9 years old. It is a pretty creepy and uncomfortable scene. ~Mike
