Bigger than life

When a friendly, successful suburban teacher and father is prescribed cortisone for a painful, possibly fatal affliction, he grows dangerously addicted to the experimental drug, resulting in his transformation into a psychotic and ultimately violent household despot.
Bonus features:"Profile of Nicholas Ray" a half-hour interview with the director; Interview with Jonathan Lethem featurette; Interview with Susan Ray featurette; Theatrical trailer.

A touching story of early psycho-tropic drug use and during a time when America was medicating and drinking itself out of reality. Outstanding performances. ~Mike
