Long shadows
This film explores the ways in which the echoes of the Civil War still resonate in American society: from politics to economics, from civil rights to foreign policy, from individual to collective memory, and from South to North to West. It explores the nature of history itself, revealing how the past is truly prologue to the present.
A part of American history that has not really been addressed. This documentary offers some insight and goes a long way to fill in the blanks. ~Mike
