CD/DVD Checkouts

Hello Volunteers:

Recently, a patron noticed, prior to checking out a CD, that the CD was missing from its case. As a result, please begin verifying that the CD is indeed inside the case when when checking CDs and DVDs both IN and OUT. In instances where a CD is missing, please notify me.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you again for all your help.

Introducing . . .

Hello Volunteers,

We have two new additions to the PERC that I would like to introduce: Kim Brady and Margaret Stebelton.

Kim received her Masters degree in Library Sciences from Michigan this Spring. She will be interning in both the Cancer and Cardiovascular Resource Centers for the summer.

In addition, Margaret is our newest PERC volunteer. She will staff the PERC on Fridays from 9:00 to 1:00.

Both Margaret and Kim have been added to the volunteers.perc@umich.edu email group and they are also listed on the PERC Intranet. If you see them around, please take a few minutes to say hello and get acquainted.

Patient Lounge

Hello Volunteers,

Please note that the Patient-Visitor Lounge on Level 1 of the Cancer Center will be closing for the summer on Tuesday, June 22nd. This closure is in preparation for a center that will address our patients' practical and financial assistance needs.

Look for more information soon! We are anticipating that the center will re-open by the end of the summer.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.

Thank You

Hello PERC and iPod Squad Volunteers and Staff:

My family and I thank you for the beautiful floral arrangement sent in memory of our father and husband, Aldo Monti. The flowers along with your cards and kind words of sympathy were deeply appreciated at such a sad time. We shall always remember with gratitude your comforting expression of sympathy. Thank you,

Lori
