This entry should be read by both PERC Staff and Tech Squad Student volunteers.
Hello Volunteers:
There seems to be some confusion regarding the checkout process for both the laptops and the iPads. You should be turning the device ON and connecting to the Wi-Fi when patrons are checking out a device.
If you have not been doing this for patrons, please add this step to the checkout process. Please let me know if you are unsure how to turn a device on and/or have questions regarding the Wi-Fi connection process, and I will be available to assist you.
I apologize for any confusion, and I will be more that happy to answer any questions you may have.
