Sign up for the PRMC Piccadilly

If you sign up, you will receive notifications when new items are posted. Otherwise you are stuck looking at the blog once in a while hoping you don't miss something darn near life-threatening, like when the next potluck is scheduled to occur.

But hey, I won't say I told you so. Besides, it's cool to be part of a blog. You wouldn't want to miss out on being cool, would you?

If you have already posted a comment to the blog, you aren't actually signed up. You have to follow the steps below to officially join. Anyone with a uniquname can post comments but not be an official member of the blog.

Follow these simple steps:

1. Go to http://mblog.lib.umich.edu

2. Click Log in and Log in using your kerberos password.

3. You will automatically be given your own blog by doing this but it does not mean you have to use it.

4. Once you've done the above, please send and e-mail to the Piccadilly Administrator so she can give you access to post new entries/topics for discussion under the various categories, in addition to being able to post comments to already posted entries.

With a membership, you can also notify others who are signed up when you've posted a new entry.

Softball league now forming

Hey PRMCers - didn't we talk about this at a recent meeting?? I think it's a great opportunity. Check it out:

Co-rec softball teams are wanted! If you are interested in playing summer softball, put together a team and sign up! MRecSports offers a five-game season throughout June and July. games are Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. at Mitchell Fields. Play one game per week with your friends and co-workers! To join, contact Nicole at nmgreen@umich.edu or call 764-0515 for more information.

Cost is $300 and includes all five games, playoffs, umpires' fees, and new game balls. Register by May 24.

We'll post a Shmoozeletter periodically with all the latest updates and news that's fit to print about our staff - promotions, new babies, big babies (Mike), graduations, new intern bios - the sky (or the text parameters) is the limit!

Well, it's no secret that there is always SOMETHING happening around here - be it a pot luck, walking group, night out after work or some other lascivious activity (joke joke joke - come on people!!), so let's keep each other informed about them. Sometimes it's helpful to share where you are at or what you are up to on a particular project, especially if it affects several people throughout the department. If you want to, you can post those sorts of updates in the Project discussions category, by either posting them all here or linking to a document or Web page that has the information you'd like to share.

Ever wonder what happened at that meeting?

If you've got meeting minutes and you want to share them with staff, feel free to share them in the Meeting Minutes category. You can create a new entry in this category and paste the text - if they aren't sensitive or private, or you can link to them so that they can be downloaded from the internal server.

Just be sure you give a decent description of what meeting the minutes are from - perhaps in the title? - and make sure your link works if you choose not to post them all.
