Fast-Approaching Fellowship Deadlines

Are you graduating from the MSW program soon? If you are looking for additional training before seeking a full-time position, a post-MSW fellowship might be right for you.

Fellowships provide additional, supervised training in specific areas of practice that further develop social work education.

The Career Center has researched fellowship opportunities in areas such as palliative care, children and youth, health, aging and policy located throughout the country. Below are some of the fellowship opportunities available to MSW graduates:

Social Work Training Program at Children’s Hospital Boston (Deadline: February 27, 2009)
Fellowships available in:
•The Department of Psychiatry
•The Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH)
•The Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND)
•The Pediatric Palliative Care (PACT)

Post-MSW Internships in Clinical Social Work at the University of California-Berkeley (Deadline: March 2, 2009)

Counseling and Consultation Service at Ohio State University (Deadline: March 6, 2009)

Palliative Care Clinical Social Work Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center (Deadline: April 15, 2009)

Health and Aging Policy Fellows at Columbia University Psychiatry, American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship Program, Atlantic Philanthropies (Deadline: April 15)
