John Tropman to Present at the Washtenaw Area Council for Children Lecture Series

The Washtenaw Area Council for Children is pleased to announce its Lecture Series for 2008-09 titled, “TOUGH TIMES: Helping Children, Families and Those Who Serve Them Through Economic Hard Times.”
The final lecture in this series, “Making Better Times Out of Hard Times,” will be presented Thursday, March 12, 2009, from 12 noon to 2 PM, in Vogel A at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District Building, 1819 S. Wagner, Ann Arbor.
John Tropman, PhD, professor of social work and organizational management, University of Michigan, will present on how those who serve children and families can maximize limited resources in hard times in an effort to continue to provide viable and needed services.
