Students are invited to attend Life Goals Collaborative Care Training in Bipolar Disorder on July 22 & 23, 2009. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and, if requested, social work CEUs; this is not for academic credit, however.

The Dissertation/Thesis Grant is designed to aid students with their dissertation research projects. Expenses such as travel, photocopying, subjects, coding, and other research-related expenses are to be covered by this grant. The maximum amount that a student can receive is $1,000.

The Office of Student Services will be sending matriculated students instructions on how to schedule their registration appointment, web-based course advising session, web-based field instruction session, and new student summer session very soon. Web-based field sessions will take place June-July. Registration, course advising, and New Student Summer Sessions will take place July-August. An email with more details will come to students who have paid their enrollment deposits in the next few weeks.

A new section of SW 623, IP with Families, section 004, has been added to the Fall 2009 term course schedule. There are a few available spots for continuing students. The section is offered on Friday mornings 9am-12pm and is being taught by Katie Pelz-Davis. If the section is full before you can get in you may file a closed course petition.
