Job Openings: Therapist Positions in Wyoming

Southwest Counseling Service (SCS) is a Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse facility located in the southwestern corner of Wyoming. SCS provides a wide variety of professional services which include Mental Health Outpatient, Substance Abuse Outpatient and Residential, Psychosocial Services, Psychiatric Services as well as Child, Adolescent, and Family Services.

Job Title: Mental Health Outpatient Therapist

Southwest Counseling Service is accepting resumes for a full-time Outpatient Mental Health Professional. Successful applicant must be Masters Level and licensed or licensable in the state of Wyoming. The position would be providing mental health services to all age groups and diagnostic categories.

SCS’s Outpatient Services are designed to provide assistance to individuals with all types of mental health issues. Treatment services include individual, group, family/couple, child/adolescent, psychiatric and emergency services.

Job Title: Substance Abuse Therapist

Southwest Counseling Service is accepting resumes for a full-time Substance Abuse Therapist. Successful applicant must be Masters Level and licensed or licensable in the state of Wyoming. The position would be providing outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment.

SCS’s Recovery Services are designed to provide assistance to individuals in all stages of addiction. Treatment is available to all those impacted by the disease, from the affected individual to family members and friends. Treatment is designed to provide support, education, skill building, knowledge and tools to assist in the recovery process. Treatment services include substance abuse assessment, individual, couple and family treatment, as well as residential, intensive outpatient, continuing care, Basic Alcohol and Traffic Safety class, and an ongoing prevention program.

The following information applies to both positions:

Terms of Employment:
Full-time, Weekdays and Evenings (no weekends until eligible for emergency on-call rotation during the second year of employment)

Salary:
Wyoming Provisional Licensure $38,508-$57,761
Wyoming Licensure $44,656-$66,985

Leave time includes: 18 days paid vacation per year, 12 paid holidays per year, 12 sick leave days per year, and 2 personal leave days per year. Miscellaneous benefits include: Access to employer Physician Assistant, paid Recreation Center membership, Wyoming Retirement (11 ¼ % of monthly salary contributed by employer).
