Customer Service Coordinator, Administration Office

Full Time Position Opening

General Summary of Duties:

Responsible for promoting an atmosphere that is welcoming, helpful and informative. Provides training and education on customer service topics to staff. Assists individuals in accessing CMH services and benefits available, as well as coordinating customer/consumer grievances and appeals in an effective and efficient manner. Tracks and reports patterns of problems areas for the Agency. Assures compliance with customer service elements within the State contract, standards and regulations. Participates and/or leads in community awareness outreach initiatives to include design of public relations materials and provision of customer service education.

Education/Experience/Skills/Ability Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, social work, psychology or human services with experience necessary to perform the job satisfactorily to include some combination of healthcare administration and/or customer service experience. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with consumers. Ability to advocate for consumers. Ability to work independently; meet deadlines; demonstrate assertiveness and initiative. Computer skills that include effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.

Salary: Up to $47,902 depending upon experience. Excellent benefits.

Outpatient Therapist

Part Time intermittent, Gladwin, MI

General Summary of Duties:

To provide services to adults, children, adolescents, and families with substance abuse, mental illness, emotional disturbance, and developmental disabilities, utilizing individual, family, and group treatment methods. Other responsibilities include group therapy, consultation and education with other community agencies and groups, and crisis intervention services.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work (preferred) or Counseling or Clinical Counseling Psychology. LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LP, LLP registration/licensure and sufficient experience to perform the position at a satisfactory level required. CAAC certification preferred.
