Research Assistant/Transcriptionist

Seeking Part-time Research Assistant/Transcriptionist

A Ph.D. candidate in the Joint Doctoral Program in Social Work and
Sociology is looking to hire an M.S.W. student to transcribe a portion
of her dissertation interviews. The title of the project is:
"Students' Experiences of Personal Growth After Trauma."

The research
assistant/ transcriptionist will be asked to transcribe between 5 and
15 interviews, beginning as soon as possible. Work hours are flexible,
can be done almost anywhere, and only require use of a computer,
headphones, a free software program, and Microsoft Word (or similar
program). A minimum commitment of 8 hours per week, on average, is
required. Payment will be made for each transcript, rather than at a
set hourly rate. Prior transcription experience is preferred but not
required.
