Summer 2010 Program Associate position available:
Basic Function: To serve as a member of the administrative team, assist in administrative duties and coordinate and oversee programming that enhances Camp experiences for staff and campers.

The Program Associate has supervisory authority of staff and assists the Assistant Director in successful staff supervision and works with area leadership to order supplies and maintain inventory for program areas. The Program Associate also works with area leadership on weekly scheduling and programming, coordinating staff events and promoting staff enthusiasm for all camp programming. This position oversees a variety of camp events and provides excellent customer service to campers of all ages.
General supervision is received from the Assistant Director.
Job Duties include:
-Provide office when needed
-Create, implement, and manage weekly events and staff duty schedules
-Oversee ordering of area materials
-Manage various camp events (faculty forum, camper welcome, new camper information session…)
-Provide leadership/advisement/assistance to program staff
-Coordinate staff events (staff week activities, movie nights, corn roast, , Banquet…)
-Other duties as assigned
-Previous Leadership/Supervision of college age staff
-Significant organizational skills
-Ability to coordinate resource needs and plan ahead
-Customer service/office skills
-Public speaking skills
-Initiative—ability to work independently
-Experience working with children and/or adults in a group setting
-Graduate level coursework recommended
-Experience with camps recommended
-References available upon request
Part time, flexible hours starting Jan 1st (~30 hours / month); Full Time from May 1st to September 6th
