Job Title: Project Coordinator
Salary Range: Based on Experience

The Project Coordinator is responsible for administering a variety of special projects for the NNDC. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must have excellent organizational, planning and communication skills. This position can support in event planning, marketing & communication strategies, media relations. Works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects. Duties include coordinating schedules and activities, placing orders for supplies and services, and tracking progress and results. This position reports to the Senior Manager of the NNDC.
-Oversee overall coordination for assigned project(s)
-Collaborate with the NNDC staff in defining scope of assigned project(s)
-Assist in planning, organizing and implementing all aspects of assigned project(s)
-Manage day-to-day operational aspects of one or more ongoing projects
-Administer all aspects of project schedules
-Maintain regular communication with NNDC staff on a variety of project aspects, including project status, expectations, schedules and timeframes
-Write reports and summaries of meetings and activities
-Develop close working relationships with internal and external project collaborators
-Help develop and monitor the program budget and staffing requirements
-Help ensure that the program meets its stated objectives
-Create and execute and revise project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
-Review and monitor project deliverables
-Prepare progress reports, track expenses against project budget and review priorities as needed
-Participate in team formation and team meetings
-Communicate effectively with managers and team members
-Coordinate with IT staff to ensure project related web content is up to date
-A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
-3-5 years experience in increasingly responsible administrative positions.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects and work well under pressure.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
-Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications.
-Ability to work closely with a internal and external contacts in a professional manner.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum collaboration in a team environment.
-Experience in program management, particularly in the area of Education and Outreach.
-Experience with medical or social service organizations.
-Knowledge of University practices, rules and regulations.
