* Fellows will research and write analyses on current policy issues; brief policymakers, journalists and others on these issues; and serve as a resource for advocates and community groups.

* Each fellow will participate in a career development program that includes a week-long seminar in Washington, DC and additional training and professional development opportunities, including national policy conferences. Additionally, fellows will be partnered with mentors who are leaders in their field.

The fellowship will begin in the latter part of August 2010.
