The Peace Corps office at the University of Michigan will be hosting a general information session.
Wed, March 17th
(Drinks and snacks provided, brown bag your lunch)
Information on the many program areas and regional placements available to social work students in the Peace Corps will be presented by the University of Michigan Peace Corps coordinators and a recruiter from the Chicago regional office. Information will also be provided on the application and placement process. Lastly, a panel of returned volunteers will be present to share their stories and answer any questions you may have about life in the Peace Corps. This is a great first step for any student thinking of applying for the Peace Corps, but will be specially tailored for social work students.
