Job Opportunity: Educational Research Data Collectors

Educational Research Data Collectors are needed to periodically conduct objective observations for the Early Learning Communities Project for the United Way of Southeastern Michigan during the summer, and possibly fall, of 2010. Observations will take place in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties in the homes of caregivers who are family, friends and neighbors of those children, ages birth – 5 years, who are in their care.
This is a part-time independent contract position which pays $15/hour and mileage at $0.50/mile. Education in early childhood, social work or related field required. Must have reliable transportation. Paid training at HighScope in Ypsilanti, June 7–9.
