Part-Time Job: Respite Mentor Wanted

Respite Mentor neeeded to work with a 12-year-old boy who is creative, smart and good at expressing feelings. He also likes to read and build airplanes.
Mentor will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours per month. Mentoring activities will be provided in the child's home (in Chelsea, MI) and in the surrounding communities. Training will be provided. Mentor will be paid $15 an hour.

Qualifications:
- At least 6 months experience working with children ages 10-13
- Past experience working with children with behavioral challenges
- Patience and willingness to work with a child with special needs
- Valid drivers license and own means of transportation.
Traning will be provided by the children's parents, including a transition perod of getting to know the family and child's needs before mentor and child work on their own.
