The Direct Action & Research Training (DART) Center is seeking students for their community organizing fellowship and career placement program. DART is now accepting applications for the 2011 DART Organizers Institute: a paid, four-month field school for people interested in launching a career in community organizing.
Graduates of the Organizers Institute are placed into full-time, permanent organizing careers.
The UMSSW is willing to nominate qualified students for this program. Being nominated can greatly help your chances of getting into this program. To get nominated, email Michelle Woods at email@example.com.
However, you do not need to be nominated to apply. The deadline to apply is December 20, 2010. To apply, contact Hannah Wittmer at firstname.lastname@example.org or (785) 841-2680. You can download applications from www.thedartcenter.org.
