Ann Arbor pedestrian safety ordinance

Ann Arbor safety ordinance requires drivers to stop for pedestrians approaching or within a crosswalk. The fine for not stopping is $100 and 2 points on your license; HOWEVER, pedestrians still have to be very cautious because most motorists are either unaware of or are defying this law.
