Washington D.C. Job Networking Trip

The SSW Career Center is planning our 3rd annual Washington D.C. Job Networking Trip for February 29 – March 3, 2012. This trip will give current students the opportunity to meet and network with UM-SSW alumni pursuing social work careers in the Washington D.C. area, as well as:

 Attend an evening alumni reception
 Shadow an alum for a day at their job: past agency participants have been Department of Health and Human Services, NASW Headquarters, National Institute of Health, U.S. Administration on Aging, etc.
 Attend a personalized alumni panel discussion
 Enjoy unstructured time to network with alumni and tour Washington D.C.

Please check your email for a copy of the application, or stop by the Career Center. Applications are due to the Career Center or by email to ssw-cso@umich.edu no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12th. We will notify the students who’ve been selected to attend the trip by Thursday, December 22nd.

If you're interested in learning more about the trip, come to our information session to get more details. The info session will be held in the Career Center (Room 1696 in the SSW) on Wednesday, December 7th from 12-1pm.
