Fellowship Opportunties: Center on Budget & Policy Priorities

Posted: December 06, 2011

State Policy Fellowships are available through the State Fiscal Analysis Initiative and the Center on Budget & Policy Priorities. The State Policy Fellowship Program supports a diverse generation of future leaders in shaping state policies and fiscal choices that affect disadvantaged families and communities.

Starting in August 2012, each State Policy Fellow will spend 2 years with an influential state policy organization belonging to the State Fiscal Analysis Initiative. Fellows research and write analyses on current policy issues; brief policymakers, journalists and others on these issues; and serve as a resource for advocates and community groups. Ongoing training and career development will also be provided in Washington D.C.

The application deadline for this program is January 13, 2012. Brochures on this opportunity -- with information about location, salary and benefits -- are available in the Career Services office (#1696 in the SSW).

For more information about the fellowship program or with questions about the application process, contact fellowship@cbpp.org.
