UM - Alumni Association Networking Event
Posted: October 09, 2012
Greetings from the Alumni Association!
This summer, we hosted several Student Services luncheons to share information regarding student programs offered by the Alumni Association. Allow me to share with you an upcoming Student/Alumni Exchange hosted by the African American Alumni Council during the Reunion of Black Graduates that we hope you'll encourage the students and student organizations you work with to attend. Please share the attached flyer with all students.
Thursday, October 11, 2012, 6-8 pm (Homecoming Weekend)
Maize & Blue Auditorium, Student Activities Building
RSVP online: umalumni.com/rbg36 or to Phyllis Taylor, Alumni Association, email@example.com
The 36th Reunion of Black Graduates will take place during U-M's Homecoming Weekend, October 11-14. The reunion provides time for fellowship and connection among African-American alumni and current students. A valuable component of the Reunion of Black Graduates is the Student/Alumni Exchange. The evening will include a mini-presentation on the art of networking, a few rounds of "speed networking" with U-M alumni, and a reception for students to fellowship and make connections that can prove valuable to their future academic and career goals.
We plan to have alumni from diverse academic and career backgrounds present and opportunities for students to network with representatives from various student organizations and student groups.
Please have students register online at umalumni.com/rbg36 or contact Phyllis Taylor, Alumni Association, firstname.lastname@example.org, 734.7642316 to register or if questions.
