The Office of Student Services has a limited number of commencement hoods, robes, and caps available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to graduate in December and attend the SSW Winter Commencement on December 15th, please stop by the OSS to borrow attire.
Brian Vaugh, Human Resource Manager at The State of Michigan Department of Human Services, will host an information session on how to apply for social work jobs within his department.

The Federal government Presidential Management Fellowship Program is seeking candidates. The open application and online assessment is available until Nov. 19. It is a great opportunity to work in federal government positions for two years plus. Most PMF make over $55,000/year. This year the fellowship program is open to those who have graduated since Nov. 2010 even if you previously applied. You can apply again. To find out more visit www.pmf.gov.
