Professor from the College of Engineering Named a "Woman to Watch"
Ann Marie Sastry, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Mechanica, Biomedical and Materials Science and Director, Energy System Engineering Program, has been named one of Crain's Detroit Business's 2009 Women to Watch. In addition to her role at the College of Engineering, Sastry is also the CEO of Sakti3, a lithium-ion battery start-up.
