President: Elizabeth Perry
Background: Presently working with the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (MI's consortium with the Big Ten plus Chicago) to help with project management and collection analysis for their partnership with Google Book Search. 5 years in Academic libraries including circulation, end processing (book labeling - so much fun), serials processing and cataloging, preservation cataloging, and reference. Previous masters degree in comparative religion and the environment from Harvard Divinity School. Dual bachelors in economics and religious studies from Cornell University.
Interests: consortia models for licensing and coll. dev., scholarly communication, institutional repositories, e-resource negotiations and management, search strategies and instruction, library automated systems and workflows
Internships: collection development at Hatcher, electronic resource management and use statistics for U of M Libraries

Vice-President: C. Jeremy Barney
Background: A graduate of The College of Wooster (Wooster, OH) with a B.A. in archaeology and an art history minor. Some graduate work in early medieval studies at the University of York (York, UK). One year of computer support at The College of Wooster Libraries and a year as a Library Aide - Reference Services Internet Monitor at the Herrick District Library (Holland, MI).
Interests: Reference services (including remote and roving), electronic resources, government and NGO publications, archives, preservation issues, audio, video, and film.
Internships: National Museum of American History Archives Center, Smithsonian Institution.

Treasurer: Marci Brandenburg
Background: Reference work at UM Taubman Medical Library since November 2006; MS in biology from Ohio University and BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College.
Interests: Science and/or medical libraries
Internships: Working at UM Taubman Medical Library; Internship includes doing some bioinformatics work with NCIBI (National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics).
Secretary / Webmaster: Joy Kim
Background: 5 years in nonprofit book publishing, both academic and trade; 2006-2007 ALA Spectrum Scholar; BA in English from Yale University.
Interests: Public libraries, urban libraries, youth and teen services, branch services, diversity issues.
Internships: Public Library Associate at the Ann Arbor District Library since September 2006.
