Primary job responsibilities include:
Management within the seminary of the ALS and other software shared with the Hope College libraries, implementing new electronic resources and services, maintaining the library’s webpages, serving as library liaison with students in the Distance Learning M.Div. program, assisting the director in training patrons to use electronic resources.
Qualifications:
ALA accredited degree in LIS
Masters degree in the humanities (theology/religion preferred)
Experience with ALSs (III preferred), network management, course management software, website maintenance, Ereserve and Ejournal management, MS Office
Strong service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills
This is a professional position supervised by the Associate Director of Beardslee Library.
