ELECTIONS 2008

It is TIME. TIME FOR (more) ELECTIONS.

If you would like to be an ALA officer next year, or there is someone
you would like to nominate, we will be accepting nominations from now
through Thursday (3/20).

Following this period, we will notify nominees, and we ask that you
accept (or decline) the nomination by Tuesday (3/25). If you do
decide to run, a personal statement is due by this day (3/25).

Voting is from Wednesday (3/26) to Saturday (3/29). Results will be
tallied and announced by Monday (3/31). These are a lot of dates, but
do not fear, we will send out reminders along the way!

PLEASE SEND ALL NOMINATION/VOTING RELATED EMAILS TO
alaelections@ctools.umich.edu

We have 5 positions:
President
Vice-President
Treasurer
Secretary/Webmaster
Social Coordinator

These positions all entail pretty much what you think they entail. :)
Feel free to email any of the current holders of those positions with
any questions you may have!
