DESCRIPTION: A valuable list (with links) of many listservs that focus on ASD and the Autistic community. The list is not generally annotated, but enough information is provided to assist those people looking to join new lists.

DESCRIPTION: This listserv involves a "discussion of farmstead communities which meet the residential, vocational and recreational needs of the growing population of adults with autism." (according to the information page). Though not very active, this list is valuable for looking at alternative communities for people with ASD and explore "...issues of political impact, financing, staffing, programming, behavioral intervention, continuing education, and farmstead logistics and growth." The list is hosted by the Medical College of Ohio.

DESCRIPTION: This listserv is very active and includes a wide range of people with ASD as well as those caring for loved ones and students with ASD. The list is an open e-mail-based forum to discuss autism and is very active, with as many as 1000 postings a month.

The list is intended to provide resource information & support, primarily for parents and teachers, and a number of people share their experiences with local professionals, therapies, and school districts. This list is fairly active with an average of 200 or more postings per month.
