Hampden-Sydney College is a selective four-year liberal arts college for men enrolling around 1100 students located on a beautiful 1000-acre campus in Virginia, 60 miles southwest of Richmond. Since 1775 Hampden-Sydney has sustained its mission “to form good men and good citizens in an atmosphere of sound learning.”
Classics generalist in the classical languages and literatures who is also able to teach ancient art and archæology, and who is willing to teach in the college-wide programs of Western Culture and/or Freshman Composition.
