Introduction - Sasha
Hi everyone! My name is Sasha Preston-Suni, and I'm a Center for South Asian Studies India Summer Program fellow. I will be using this blog to report regularly on my experiences in Tamil Nadu, India. I will be working in Sattankulam, not many kilometers from the southernmost point of India. I will be working with the NGO AID India within their microcredit program. Hopefully I will also get the chance to develop a literacy program for female loan recipients. My stay spans from 1 May to 25 August, so there will be a lot to read. I am currently in Singapore, and leave for Tamil Nadu soon. I will begin posting regularly upon arrival.
