From AJPH--Boston Health Care for the Homeless: A Public Health Framework
The Boston Health Care for the Homeless program, begun in 1985, has always included comprehensive dental services. The program has grown from a part-time dentist providing care at 2 shelters to a 5-operatory dental clinic at the program's new building, staffed by 3 dentists, assisted by students and fellows from area dental schools that offers a full range of oral health care services.
