From Betsy - Hope, The Cancer Chain
A recent letter from Betsy brought to my attention the following book by Brad O'Neill, an oral cancer survivor.

The following snippet is from the newspaper clipping sent by Betsy.
"A friend who heard about O'Neill's plight knew someone else with cancer who removed a link from a paper chain to count down treatment sessions. The O'Neills liked the idea, and Diane expanded it to include a message of support on each link."
The messages of support were donated by friends and family, and the story is truly a wonderful tale of the outpouring of generosity, caring and support that can nurture someone through a time of personal trial.
