Sorry if this one's a downer, folks. It's basically just me griping about my health, because nothing I recorded sounded like it was worth posting. Feel free to give it a pass this week if you like - I just put it up to keep the momentum going. I'll shoot for something better next week.

Once again, a bit of a delay, but we finally have a new episode up. This is a half hour or so of personal history, dedicated to a buddy of mine from college that tracked me down last week to say "what's up".

New Flickr set for episode #9
Flickr was finally playing nicely enough to let me do this. However, I noticed that I can only make three sets of photos like this with a free Flickr account, so I had to delete the set for episode #3.

Episode #9 - Father and son "content free" cast
Sorry about the day's delay, sorrier still that this is what you get for the wait :) This was what I did last Saturday. I had some errands to run, and my son was willing to come along. Actually, he was one of the errands, so he didn't have much choice :)
We ended up making a "guy's day out" out of it. I chopped out / failed to record a few stops, like the hair cut, the stop at the pizza place, the stop at the hole-in-the-wall candy store... maybe next time.

Delay of game... 5 yard penalty
I found myself totally unable to concentrate on editing the latest podcast last night, so I went to bed at 10 pm. There won't be a ton of audio editing, but I've got a goodly amount of pictures and audio breaks to plug in. I'm shooting at editing it up and having it out late Monday night EST.

Episode #8... again!
Okay, let's try this again. I was listening to the end of episode #8, when I noticed that a clip of audio didn't make it into the final file. FIxed that, and re-uploaded the file. Feel free to grab it again if you wish - it was just a clip of me warning you about the upcoming thunderstrike after the "Special Bulletin" segment.

Hrmmm. I can't download the revised entry with iTunes on one machine, but I can on another machine. Feedburner is teh flakey tonight. I'll check again in the morning.

Episode #8 - Stormy Weather
This episode comes to you in bits and pieces. Recording started on Wednesday, continued on Saturday, and finished up on Sunday.
The stormy weather bit comes in on Saturday. If you're the sort that really doesn't like thunder, you're not gonna like those segments. I was out on the porch in a thunderstorm and a bolt came down less than a half mile away. Very loud. VERY loud. Freaked me right the heck out.
